Keith Lightbody

BACKGROUND: I grew up on 360 acre farm in Mundijong in Western Australia with a keen interest in nature and flying. As a computing teacher I taught about the use of digital cameras starting when they were first introduced to consumers in 1994. I also provided training to other teachers to assist in using digital cameras to enhance their web pages.

I bought my first digital SLR camera in 2005 for a trip around Europe. Since then I have spent a lot of time photographing nature - birds, whales, wildflowers and scenery. One of my specialties is birds in flight which requires a thorough understanding of camera settings to achieve the best possible results. By connecting my Canon camera to the projector I will demonstrate a range of camera settings useful for wildlife photography. I will also explain some of the important menu features that affect your results.
